The procedure envisions that the ballot package that the CEC sends through the mail to voters abroad can only be accepted by the registered person himself. The mail officer must be sure to check through the identification document the person for whom the paper is dedicated”, says this CEC procedure.
The Zarfi, which will be sent to voters, contains: ballots; the envelope of secrecy; the guide with information on how the ballots are completed; and how voting is conducted via mail; the return envelope and closing tape.
In voting outside Kosovo for local elections vote, the voter's duty is to send the package of balloting to any of the CEC mailboxes that open in various states.
According to the CEC, the mail boxes address will be published by the CEC prior to the start of the voting period by mail.
In this connection, the CEC also made its decision on decertifying 9 candidates from different political subjects, such as: Distinction in your hand (1); Democratic Party of Kosovo (1); Movement for the Union of Albanians (1); Egypt's Liberal Party (2) and Alternative (4). These candidates were earlier certified by the CEC for participation in local elections, which will be held on 12 October 2025. /Periscope/
