Police spokesman for Prizren's Sacir Bytyqi has confirmed the news about Periscopi.
He said the suspect, E.K., 28-year-old from Hashi's Zymi, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident, has surrendered to Prizren police station.
“With the date of 02.09.2025, around 12:50, Kosovo Police have accepted information about a traffic accident in the village of Gjonaj, Prizren municipality. The Regional Road Traffic Unit police patrol has immediately emerged at the scene and found that a leg leg, M.H., about 40, by Kabashi of Hasi, has lost its life as a result of the accident, after being hit by a car until it was crossing the street. The suspect, E.K., 28, from Hashi's Zymi, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident, has surrendered to the Regional Traffic Unit Police Station in Prizren. Police, in co-operation with the Prosecution, are taking the necessary actions to clarify all the circumstances of the case”, Bytyqi said.
