He has publicly apologized for this decision, saying he would never have voted if he knew that Basha was coauthor of a controversial work KLA.
“in our lives we need to know and learn, admit mistakes and apologize”, Brahimaj said in his interview on the show Five Dukagini RTV.
He said he had been in The Hague in 2012, and had had no information on the matter.
No newspaper or portals these years has published that Dimal Basha has been the author of such a terrible writing against the Kosovo Liberation Army. Under no circumstances, for any kind of price, I wouldn't have voted for the chief speaker if I knew about the scripture he made”, he added.
Brahimaj said that if an initiative is undertaken for Basha's dismissal, he would be the first among the deputies to sign and vote for his dismissal.
