The German car company BMW has announced the massive withdrawal of over 196,000 vehicles in the United States due to a defect in the engine starter.
According to the National Road Safety Administration and Traffic (NHTSA), the problem relates to excessive warming and cutting the electricity district, increasing the risk of fire, Reuters reported on Sunday.
The attraction affects several BMW models, including Toyota Supra and 2022 BMW 230, transmits time.net.
The company has announced it will provide free engine starter replacement for all owners of affected vehicles.
To prevent possible risks, the BMW has invited all owners of vehicles affected to visit authorised service points, where free replacement of the defective part will be realised. /Periscope/
