Albania's presidency has suggested Begaj will take part in the 80th Year Summit of the United Nations General Assembly, to be held in New York on 22 September 2025.
“this week, the head of state will keep his word in the General Assembly debate, where it will present Albania's positions on key issues, including international peace and security, multilatheralism, sustainable development and human rights”.
President Begaj's “Agency also includes participation in some important multilateral activities. The head of state will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts and senior UN representatives”.
