Even with Beden and Trump, the U.S.A. confirms that there is no good relationship with Kurt: Partnership With the People Is Not Abandoned

The United States of America wants in Kosovo a government with which they share common priorities. So it's actually happening, as former Ambassador Jeffrey Havener, who said both the Benden Administration and the Trump Administration, have <x0 concerns about the quality of partnership with the incumbent prime minister, Kurti” and that relations are not good. [...]
The US has indefinitely suspended the planned Strategic Dialogue with Kosovo due to concerns about the government's actions in office.
A few days later, the US Embassy in Kosovo said the United States of America will continue to be the near <x0mic of the people of Kosovo”.
The US Embassy told the media Monday that charged with work at the American Embassy, Annu Prattipati, has regular meetings with incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti, whose statements and actions were cited as the reason in a statement last week.
The UN will always be a close friend of the people of Kosovo and we are fully committed to our partnership. We want to move forward with the Government in office, but we need a partner who understands the necessity to avoid destabilising actions and who is committed to advancing regional stability and to protect the rights of all Kosovo citizens. We will continue to assess the government's actions in office”, the embassy said.
Former US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Havenier said on Wednesday that suspending Strategic Dialogue from the United States is the result of a US rally of government of incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti, stressing particularly criticism of the Constitutional Court.
He said in an interview for Radio Free Europe that both the Benden Administration and the Trump Administration have “concerns about the quality of partnership with the incumbent prime minister, Kurti” and have priorities that conflict with those of Kosovo's incumbent government.
Havenier said the US and the American people are committed to supporting the people of Kosovo. He said that in American institutions there are experts who pay particular attention to the small Balkan country, which he said “needs US interest”.
“We are proud of the help we have given to the people of Kosovo to consolidate and create its own state, and we want to see Kosovo successful”, he said.
The average Kosovars, who might be concerned about this impasse in relations with the United States, Houvenier gave a message: “The United States has no intention of abandoning partnership with the people of Kosovo. But, we distinguish between our dedication to Kosovo state, people and institutions and any particular government. And, obviously, the Trump administration has concerns about the quality of partnership with the incumbent prime minister's Government, Kurti”./Periscopi/
