Basha: Petrovci, one of the most prominent figures in our culture

Through a Facebook post, Basha has said Petrovci has left a lasting impression on popular memory.

Kosovo and all Albanian art today lost one of the most remarkable figures of our culture. Enver Petrovci was and will remain from prominent icons of the Albanian scene and screen, a large-spirit actor with talent and numerous works that will live through the generations. He gave life to hundreds of characters, but most of all he breathed into our national theatre, cinematography, and art, leaving a lasting impression on our folk memory”, Basha wrote.

It further on behalf of the Kosovo Assembly has expressed condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late, art lovers and throughout artistic community.

The actor and director, Enver Petrovci, has died at 71.

In addition to artistic activity, he also worked as a professor at the Pristina University Faculty of Arts acting branch. /Periscope/
