Attack on journalists, Simay: I'm innocent.

The enemy appeared today at the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica.

I appeared today at the Foundation Court in Mitrovica for the incident that occurred in 2023 when journalists were attacked in Leposaviq. I am someone for whom the vital mission, the political mission, has always been to call for peace, for co-existence, for dialogue and for solving all problems through institutions and by no means”, he said.

My fundamental vision and political code rely on what the journalist is holy and that the journalist, of course, cannot be touched. And so I've behaved to journalists both north and south, and every time I've encountered Albanian journalists in the north, when there's been a protest over the past years, I've always come to their aid and given them support, both technical and otherwise. “So I have absolutely no connection to this incident and then I was publicly declared and condemned that attack. And of course, even today, before this basic court here in Mitrovica, I publicly declare and strongly condemn the attack on journalists and journalists' teams”, S individual said.

The hearing was postponed in this case because the lawyer refused to accept the paperwork.

“Failure to submit the long-term subject sketch should be something the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council would probably have to deal with. Because this isn't the first time, that's, to say, it's common for us to come to the training session, so that documents and what needs protection from the material don't give up on time. I expect the prosecutor to improve that release within the deadline the court has set, and on October 9th we will continue the process regularly”, attorney Dejan Vasic said before the media.
