Arian Tahiri: People with special needs will be my priority in governing.

Mitrovica chairmanial candidate Arian Tahiri has said the involvement and support of persons with particular needs will be one of the main priorities of his government.

During a visit to the organisation “Andikos”, Tahiri has met with representatives and community members to discuss the challenges they face every day and concrete ways of meeting their demands in the city.

In my government, people with special needs will be priorities. I also promised them that at éndikos, where we discussed concrete ways to meet their demands in Mitrovica. We will work together to create better conditions for full access to any public space and for better quality service”, wrote Tahiri on a social networking post.

He stressed the importance of building an entire city, where all citizens have equal opportunities for participation in public life, without physical or institutional barriers.
