The anniversary of Ahmet Krasniqi's assassination, Obadiah: His name, cornerstone of Kosovo state creation

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has commemorated Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi on the 27th anniversary of his assassination.

Abdixhiku says the murder of Krasniqi was a grave wound, an untold pain for the nation.

The plan, the first of the LDK, said that the life and work of Colonel Krasniqi were raised above any criminal act, above any darkness, remaining forever light and guide of Kosovo's history.

“Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi was not just a professional military. He was a visionary of liberation, strategist of organization, rare intellectual, and missionary of independence. With the faith of President Historical, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, the Supreme Commander of the Republic of Kosovo, was appointed the first defence minister. In that grand task, the Colonel laid the foundations of the Kosovo Army, making strategic, logistics and military organisation a reality, and securing arsenals for the fight for freedom”.

His “name remains the cornerstone of the establishment of the state of Kosovo, which laid the basis for establishing the military institutional line of the Republic of Kosovo; as the first minister of defence. He is credited for the war and liberation of the country with being proclaimed the Hero of Kosovo. Knowledge, his experience, and his courage were the values of our journey for freedom, independence, and democracy. So I will continue to remain as a hero all the time until this earth is spoken of and lived Albanian. We today remember it not only as our glorious past but also as vivid inspiration for generations to come. He taught us that freedom is earned with courage, that the state is built with devotion, and that the homeland is protected with the life of”, Obadiah wrote.
