The United States Embassy in Kosovo has today commemorated the victims of the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks, as well as the extraordinary courage of first reaction teams on that tragic day.
In the official announcement, the Embassy announced that its community was united in honouring lost lives and those who were courageous in the face of danger.
“Today, on September 11th, the US Embassy community gathered to honour lost lives and the bravery of first reaction teams on September 11th,” said in the statement.
Under commemorative activities, the Security Security Unit (Marine Security Guard) led a symbolic climb through the stairs in honour of the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in the World Trade Center buildings. Later, employees from the diplomatic mission gathered for a silent moment, staying united in memory and reflection.

Today, on September 11th, the US Embassy community gathered to honour lost lives and the bravery of first reaction teams on September 11th.
