The exercise is being conducted in line with training plans and in close co-ordination with the US Army Training and Security Assistance Organisation (SATMO), the KSF says.
“in line with training plans and in close co-ordination with SATMO, as well as with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, the activity of the mortaya tactical throw in the exercise under way in Biza, the Republic of Albania. The event is aimed at boosting operational readiness, strengthening regional co-operation between our forces and international partners”, the KSF has announced.
Training has been accomplished in the theoretical and practical part.
“Training focused on three main tasks: Mortar training, training courses for infantry and Mortar leaders (Infantry morter leader course), the leading observers where they were trained at: Safe use of mortars, targeting, firing, training and co-ordinating procedures between fire elements and tactical units, exchange of experiences and best practices with international partners' trainers and advisers, etc. This co-operation strengthens the professional capacities of the KSF and contributes to regional security and stability through synchronised training and continued co-operation with our partners”, the KSF says. /Periscopi/
