Albania's arms trafficking group hit towards England

According to police, three suspects have been identified in connection with the case, until two have ended up in handcuffs.

Police also suggest that a firearm was seized with a silencer, split into pieces and hidden inside a television set.

“3 Tirana, has exercised control in a truck suspected of several citizens hiding a firearm to trafficke it. From inside control of a TV, police services found and seized the firearm with the silencer, divided into pieces. Following the operation in co-operation with the Local Police Directorate Shkodra citizens were arrested. S., 26, and S. M., 20, and was declared citizen R. A., 20, all three residents in Shkodra”.

These citizens, in cooperation with each other, have attempted to traffic a firearm with the silencer, with England's destination, through a citizen's truck that had no knowledge of the weapon that was inside television. There are investigations, under the Prosecution' direction, of full documentation of the criminal activity of these citizens after allegedly trafficked and other weapons, as well as of identifying and apprehending others involved. The procedure materials were passed on to the Prosecutor for further actions”, the State Police report said.
