Seven Albanians sentenced to 40 years in Britain after cultivating and selling drugs

In May 2022, officers from West Midlands Police and West Midlands Organised Crime Unit (WM ROCU) launched an investigation into the sale and production of large-scale cannabis across the United Kingdom.
According to the British police report, the seven men -- arrested and charged as part of the investigation -- all pleaded guilty to the plot to supply and manufacture cannabis.
Last Wednesday (17 September), the Birmingham Court was sentenced:
Erikson Kararay, 34, of Perry Wood Road, Birmingham, was imprisoned for eight years;
Arben Sinnari, 48, of Asher Road, Birmingham, is imprisoned for seven years;
Islam Toro, 31, of Railway Street, Tipton, was imprisoned for five years and eight months;
Clady Zyka, 28, of Station Street, Darlaston, was imprisoned for five years;
Kemal Sakaj, 29, of Borrowdale Road, Birmingham, was imprisoned for four years and six months;
Avdula Delbashi, 31, of Fountain Road, Birmingham, was imprisoned for four years and four months;
Sonny Gremshi, 37, of Greenholm Road, Birmingham, was imprisoned for three years and four months.
According to British police from the investigation, it was found that Sinjari and Kararay led the group, which produced cannabis in a number of properties throughout the United Kingdom by illegally wasting electricity.
Other men were involved in maintaining cultivation and would then be involved in selling and distributing several pounds at the same time throughout the country.
