The “honoured for the faith given to me today, by selection in unanimous, as vice president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
This is not just a new task -- it is a strong message of confidence that Albania has voice, weight and vision.
This task brings clear responsibilities: to strengthen the voice of my country in defense of democracy, rule of law and human rights.
I will commit myself to supporting Kosovo on its path to membership, to stay close to Ukraine in efforts for justice and peace, as well as to promote reforms that make Albania an increasingly reliable partner”. /Periscope/
