The Information and Private Agency has called on political parties to protect citizens' personal data during the election campaign for local elections to be held in 12,10,2025.
The AIP requires parties to implement legal obligations and take action as insurance that any processing of personal data be done with the consent of citizens, in the legitimate interest of the subject, or for certain reasons by law, not use contact information during the exercise of public functions or for political marketing purposes.
Likewise, parties are required not to expose personal data during email, seages (sms) or phone calls without prior consent.
