The Association of Kosovo Journalists (AGK) has joined media and journalists from around the world to condemn the killings of journalists in Gaza from Israeli attacks.
At this pace of killing journalists in Gaza by the Israeli army, it is said that soon nobody will remain to be informed
200 media worldwide in 50 states have protested the murders of journalists in Gaza.
Full AGK statement:
In an unprecedented global action, more than 200 media worldwide, out of at least 50 states, have protested this Monday over the murder of journalists in Gaza.
At this pace of killing journalists in Gaza by the Israeli army, very soon no one will remain to be informed”
For the first time in modern history, media worldwide have co-ordinated a global protest, initiated by Reporters Without Borders (RSF), the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), and the Avaaz Movement.
The printed newspapers have printed black forehead, televisions and radios have equipped the broadcast, as a sign of solidarity.
The symbolic event comes at the time that the number of journalists killed since the start of the conflict on October 7th 2023 has reached 210. Israel has repeatedly banned foreign media from entering Gaza, leaving local Palestinian journalists on fire.
