The association of Kosovo Journalists (AGK) has been reportedly due to serious obstruction of the cameraman's work of portal “Paparaci”, Jethmir Muji, while conducting a shoot for the presidential family, Osmani Sadriu.
President Osmani's close defense has brought an arbitraryly physical ban on Mujin, who was shooting at a weekly school where the first one from the state sends her two daughters. He has been held illegal by members of the near-safe defense for several minutes, seized by camera and asked to hide the footage.
The AGK values the ban scandalous and unacceptable, and calls for President Osmani and Kosovo Police to identify and take measures against those involved in the act.
By respecting the Code of Ethics when minors are questioned, media and journalists have the right to report on where the children of the heads of state are educated, and under what conditions.
Any obstacle to achieving this right to reporting is an attack on media freedom, and the right of citizens to inform.
We invite President Osmani to distance himself from this close defence behavior, and to make transparent information about the presidential family, when this is required from the media./Periscopi/
