I joined this movement with the conviction that I was joining a sincere political alternative that would bring real change, justice, equality, and hope to the citizens of this country. Unfortunately, during my involvement, I have seen a very painful reality: mismanagement, arrogance, civil disobedience, the capture of institutions and unilateral party employment. Especially in our Podujevo municipality. E The fact is, instead of changing, it is repeating the same old mind that this subject claimed would fight.
Self - determination, once a symbol of idealism and civic sacrifice, has now become a mechanism for unstopable power, disfellowshipped and closed interests. Honest youths, professionals, and activists are being ignored and disfellowshipped as mediocrity and loyalty to individuals are being promoted, not to principles.
I, Mentor Mayaci, resign from support and from any function and membership in “Vetevendosje”, with immediate effect.
I ask for public forgiveness from any citizen, friend, or associate who I have invited to join this movement based on my sincere obedience. It was a mistake I now understand clearly, and I take on moral and human responsibilities.
From today, I have nothing to do with this subject. I will continue to be loud, active and devoted as a free citizen who does not sit back in the face of injustice.
