One accused of being sentenced to 2 years in prison, and the other to 1 year for serious attempted murder committed 18 years ago

The announcement of the trial was made by the chairman of the court, Mede Bytyqi, with members of the judges: Agim Kuci and Gent Beka, reports “Justice Trust”, broadcast Periscope.

According to the statement, Sabri Hamiti was sentenced to two years in prison, in which time spent in house detention and arrest between 20 October 2007 and 13 February 2008. The two accused were sentenced for criminal work “severe attempted murder” in co-ordination.

While accused Ilir Hamiti, for criminal offence in attempted co-ordination, had been sentenced to 1 year in prison, while for the criminal act of possession, control, or unauthorized use of weapons was sentenced to 800 euros in fine.
