Over 4,500 applications for subsidy purchase of textbooks have been rejected

4,532 applications for subsidising the purchase of textbooks have been rejected by school coordinators, who are making verifications this year of students who have the right to be subsidised. These statistics have been shared by the Ministry of Education for KALLXO.com, at 11,09.2025, according to which, to date, there are 202,291 applications for subvention of the purchase of textbooks.
As AugustI has confirmed, 5,886 applications are expected to be verified by school coordinators.
From the AugustI say the budget earmarked for the acquisition of textbooks in the 2025/26 school year is worth 12,8002,000 euros.
“The realised first and second phase salaries are worth 12,800000 euros. The number of parents waiting to be executed subvention is 21,198, and the cost of payment is 1,695,760 euros”- is said to be responding to the Ministry of Education, in 11,09,2025.
Nagavci had announced in 21.08.2025 that a total of 144,337 applications for subsidising the purchase of textbooks have been accepted.
This is the third year that the Ministry of Education applies its method of subsidising the purchase of textbooks, except this time it is subsidizing classrooms 1 que 5 from 80 euros for the purchase of textbooks and textbooks, as well as 80 euros for classrooms 6 HINA 9 students for the purchase of workshops and learning materials.
With the start of the new school year, some parents complained about the value of subsidising the purchase of textbooks, since they considered it insufficient.
The application for subsidising the purchase of textbooks takes place on the e-Kosovo platform by parents, which opened in 15.08.2025.
Each school has the school co-ordinator, who has the possibility that in the platform system e-Kosovo filterd out the parents who apply for subsidisation, claiming they have children at that school.
The school co-ordinator may be technical if the parent does not have the child at that school declared his or her own.
