After witness Paul Williams' testimony ended, the trial in the case against Thaci, Veselin, Selimi and Krasniqi ended for today and for this week.
The trial will resume on Monday, September 22nd at 09 a.m., when a new witness called by defence is expected to begin witnessing.
On Monday, the third consecutive witness, a British man, is expected to begin witnessing, called by former President Hashim Thaci's defence.
Paul Williams, the second defence witness Thaci at the Special Court in The Hague, today declared that Kosovo's delegation in Rambouillet and Hashim Thaci themselves sought independence.
“Hashim Thaci and would say all members of the Kosovo Albanian delegation and their Kosovo, Albanian experts sought independence”, Williams said.
Williams said he has shown the delegation the way to independence.
“Independence was necessary. I've spent a lot of time explaining how they could achieve independence if the word "sink" was not written in the Rambouillet Agreement, he added.
Williams further stressed Hashim Thaci's schooling in Switzerland, noting that he had culture of conduct.
The medium “Jusice.info” has reported James Ruby's testimony process in The Hague as a witness to the sale. This report by this medium has highlighted some of the former senior American official's statements that have participated directly in the negotiations held in Rambouillet.
One of the pieces of this report also mentions his declaration of the mountain meeting with those Rubin has named the true “commanders” to proceed with the deilitarisation of the KLA. According to Rubin, it was clear that Hashim Thaci did have any decision-making powers.
