He was seriously injured during arrest by police officials.
On Monday, Bocumi police, who has taken over the investigation, reported that the life of the suspected author is no longer dangerous, but he remains hospitalised.
Essen's Prosecutor's Office and Essen Police have not yet commented on the alleged author's motives.
The teacher was laid down at Essen University Hospital on Friday and underwent an emergency surgery. She too is out of danger to life./Periscopi/
