The majority of over 1400 electrical distributors, identified as company property, have been shut down during yesterday's day, are about 90 percent of them off. The rest will be disconnected in the following days, if they fail to reach agreement with any of the GREE-free suppliers, he said.
Following the Comercial Court decision, the Second Stair Room and the announcement accepted by the Energy Regulatory Office, KEDS has announced businesses that have not entered contracts that they will be forced to implement decisions, warning that failure to act would result in deadlocks from the network starting in August 16th.
KEDS has stressed that it is legally forbidden to allow the continuation of electricity supply for consumers who do not have valid agreements with a licensed supplier.
Kosovo's Chamber of Commerce and Industry through a reaction has said that the process has a host of legal and procedural violations, until it has appealed to the Government of Kosovo and the ZERE to immediately suspend implementation of the decision and open a transparent review process.
