ZERE Chamber of Commerce and Industry Reresponsion Addresss President Osmani with Urgent Request

Kosovo's Chamber of Commerce and Industry through a communique directed to the media has expressed its deep concern over the failure to respond to the Energy Regulatory Office, following the indictment of the 2907.2025, issued by the Commercial Court. In response, “Based at point 2 and 4 of this act, we have expected a concrete action on the Energy Regulatory Office, but so far by the latter there has been no notice of further steps”.
“Companies that haven't signed contracts have no information about who is being supplied with electricity, and who should respond at the end of the month when the bill comes. We assess that after this act, there is no more room for continued liberalisation of the Energy Market”, the announcement said.
In this case, DTIC has once again addressed Z. HRA is required to suspend the Energy Market Liberalisation decision and immediately launch public consultations with all sides of the interest.
Also reportedly in the absence of response from responsible institutions, the Chamber has been addressed with an urgent request to President Vjosa Osmani as well.
“D TIK, since March, when we have received information about the launch of this process through the media, we have offered full co-operation to all institutions, since we have not and are not against the process, but against the form chosen to do it”.
Otherwise, the Kosovo Commercial Court, the First Stair Chambers, has made a decision to suspend the Energy Regulatory Office ( ZREE, which envisioned the emergence of businesses into the free electricity market.
The news has revealed attorney Blinera Osmani through a Facebook post, stressing that on July 29, 2025, the court has issued the Aktju KA.nr.3/01/25, which has direct and immediate consequences for the energy market.
