“Brend my competencies I have ordered the Kosovo Police Inspectorate to engage in the investigation of any possible concession or involvement of any member of the Kosovo Police in Mefail Shkodra criminal activity, declared in search of the triple murder in Gjilan”, he wrote in a Facebook post.
“In every public statement and every meeting with the mechanisms I am leading, I have stressed and demanded the maximum commitment of all structures to ensure the personal and professional integrity of every public servant in our country. I continue to be uncompetitive in this direction and support any form of inter-institutional co-ordination that provides creditable, reliable and fully serving our citizens, he added.
Svecla said that “nobody is immune or not immune, especially within an institution that has a mandate for prevention, investigation and fighting any illegal activity in our country”.
The “expects with the same determination to act on the other problems of the system, especially justice, so that our citizens can live and develop into a Republic where security, order and law”, he wrote.
Yesterday, Svechla said it is an extremely angry “with the treatment that justice institutions, such as the Judiciary Prosecutor, are making such cases free of”.
“According to information, the main suspect in today's assassination has been arrested last year by the Kosovo Police for faults, while negligence and toleration on the part of the justice system are bringing us to the point where we are today”, he wrote on Facebook.
Svecla said that “is the last time these institutions will reflect and have no tolerance for any criminal activity and no criminal activity”.
Mefail Shkodra is the main suspect in the murder of three people yesterday's noon at a bar on the <x0->Ibrahim Rugova” in Gjilan. Two died instantly at the scene, and one failed to survive the wound dying at the city hospital emergency.
Police, after publishing the announcement in search of 52-year-olds earlier in the day, later published photos and even data of his sons, 25-year-old Edonis Shkodra and 22-year-old Engjull Shkodra, who allegedly were also involved in the case.
