At last session, the Vetevendosje Movement had nominated the two candidates for Kosovo Assembly Speaker Albulen Haxhiun and Donika Gervala.
Both candidates had not achieved sufficient numbers to become chairman.
This session is the second after publishing the Constitutional Court's act.
Under the Constitutional Court's act, the Assembly should elect its chairman through open voting within 30 days, with no more than three rounds of voting for the same candidate.
By 18.08.2025 (huh) has also started running the 30-day constitutional deadline for the formation of the ninth legislature. /Periscopi
