French President Emmanuel Macron, who especially thanked supporters from Australia and Japan, led the meeting, while stressing the importance of preparing for Ukrainian President Wolfymyr Zelensky's visit to the White House, which is expected to take place tomorrow.
Macro announced that the main goal of the meeting was to clarify the security guarantees for Ukraine and organise future co-operation with the US, Russia and Europe in further dialogue on peace.
Important figures such as Sir Keir Starmer, Giorgia Mellon and Friedrich Merz also participated, while Zelensky was accompanied by Ursula von der Leenen.
“Today, I attended a meeting of heads of state and government from the Coalition of Volunteers in support of Ukraine”, wrote Finland's President Alexander Stubb on X recently.
