“On the 1708.2025 police units from DDRK-Land SPMKMKMKM, following providing operational information about smuggling allegations, from the territory of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Kosovo, have taken tactical action, with what police units have banned the attempted smuggling of suspected local plates to the village of Lisok-Kamenica. During vehicle control, the quantity of 1500kg peppers that the suspect did not possess relevant documentation has been found. Regarding the case following consultation with the caretaker prosecutor, the case has been initiated, while confiscated goods have been delivered to Kosovo Customs. And in another case, a vehicle has been banned in the area around the border line between northern Macedonia and Kosovo. Textile, electronic equipment, sports clothing and jewelry allegedly transported illegally from northern Macedonia to Kosovo territory have been found in the car.
“On the 1708.2025 The Kosovo Taskforca East Unit, comprised of Kosovo Police and Customs, has addressed information that around the border zone between the RRKS, a suspected vehicle with local license plates was transporting smuggled goods, where engaged police units have taken necessary action and, as a result, the suspected vehicle has been stopped. During vehicle control, the property of the Kosovo male suspect has been encountered in quantities of goods such as textiles, electronic equipment, sports clothing, jewelry, etc., which were illegally transported from RMV to Kosovo and which had no relevant documentation. In terms of the suspected person, along with the vehicle and goods, are accompanied to the respective customs terminal, whose total value is estimated at over 2,000 (two thousand) euros, which are sequential, and the case is being addressed by the competent Kosovo Customs Unit”, police have announced.
