Talks between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska will not be limited to Ukraine and economic issues, according to lead Russian negotiator Kiril Dmitriev.
“We are also working on restoring relations between Russia and the US, so it is important that not only economic issues be on the agenda, not just Ukraine”, Dmitriev told the agency RIA on Friday, broadcast CNN, passes to KosovaPress.
A source told another Russian news agency T The ASS, that both leaders will affect the topic of global strategic security. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also indicated that Putin will visit the Soviet pilots' burial site during his stay in Alaska.
Tombs honour military pilots who died during the transport of fighter aircraft from the United States to the USSR, Peskov said on state television.
A civilian is also buried there, he added. Before returning home, Putin “will undoubtedly place flowers” at the memorial site in Anchorage, Peskov said.
