According to foreign media, it further casts doubts on the highly controversial prospect of a trilateral summit involving the US president.

So far there has been no confirmation from Russia that a possible bilateral meeting between Putin and Zelenskiy is being planned.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said meetings between national leaders should be prepared “with all care” and cannot be followed for the sake of <x2 Media coverage or evening broadcasts”.
Trump discussed yesterday with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban Budapest as a site for a summit involving Zelensky and Putin, a White House official said.
Istanbul, where the two countries' delegations have met before, has also been mentioned, a senior administration official for Reuters said.
