European leaders will join Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House, while he meets with US President Donald Trump this afternoon.
Trump said Zelensky should agree to some of Russia's conditions, including for Ukraine to give up the Crimea and agree never to join NATO for war to end.
At last week's summit with Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to allow security guarantees for Ukraine and made concessions for “the exchange of territories” as part of a possible peace agreement, US envoy Steve Witkoff told CNN. Zelensky suggested that such guarantees should be stronger than those that “did not function” in the past. Russia has not yet mentioned such agreements. / TCH/Periscopi/
