In an X statement, Zelensky echoes Trump's comments, saying today's meeting is the true “high-risk “, adding that the “summit should pave a real way towards a fair” and a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the US and Russia.
He says Ukraine is sending reinforcements to halt Russia's advances in eastern Ukraine, including the Donnetsk and Zaporizhja two territories likely to be centralised during today's talks.
He concludes the statement, calling for an end to the war and Russia to undertake the necessary “steps”.
