We'll find out what attitude everybody has. And I'll know within the first two minutes, three minutes, four minutes or five minutes... whether we're going to have a good date or a bad”, Trump told reporters at the White House on Thursday.
And if it's a bad date, it'll end very soon. And if it is a good meeting, we will achieve peace in a very close future”, he warned.
Trump has long confirmed that Putin would never have begun his full invasion of Ukraine in 2022 if he were president, and said Thursday that the “war should never have happened”.
I think that if I wasn't president, he would take over the entire Ukraine”, Trump said.
If I were not president, in my opinion, he would rather take control of all Ukraine. But I'm president and he won't play with me”, Trump said, writes CNN, broadcast Periscope
Putin has been trying to take all of Ukraine for three and a half years, but has not been able to conquer more than one fifth of its territory, at a cost of more than 1 million Russian victims, according to the British Defence Ministry and the US-based Centre for Strategic and International Studies.Periscope
