Triple murder: Proposed Today in Gjilan

The protest has been called for 7: 00 a.m., in order to express civic revolt to the justice system, which is being accused of neglect and failure in preventing crime.

Protesters are expected to seek quick action by courts and prosecutors, as well as punishment for perpetrators of the serious murder that took place on August 10th in Gjilan, where three people, including a father and son, lost their lives.

Suspects Mefail Shkodra, Engjull Shkodra and Edonis Shkodra continue to be on the run after allegedly killing father and son, Selman and Edmond Hasani, along with their family family member, Abednego Hoxha.

Since the tragic event, the walls of the court have been covered with inscriptions such as “you have hands with blood” and “Justice in the service of pawnsman”, as symbolic of dissatisfaction with the treatment of past cases by the law organs.

The event has prompted numerous reactions by political representatives and civil society. Home Affairs Minister Jedal Svecla has accused the prosecution and courts of tolerating crime and systematic failure.

Meanwhile, opposition representatives such as Lutfi Haziri and Memli Krasniqi have called for immediate clarification of the case and concrete measures for restoring public safety. /Periscopi
