No trace of Serb fleeing from prison in the north

More than three weeks have passed since George Radomirovic's escape, sentenced to 14 years and 6 months in prison for murder, attempted murder, possession of weapons and narcotics, as well as forging documents, but still no trace of his whereabouts. Radomirovic escaped on 7 August from the detention centre in northern Mitrovica, while sitting in prison workshops, classified as advanced and part of the list for possible parole. At the time of his escape, only 3 years and 7 months of his full sentence remained, the IndexOnline writes.
After the escape, Kosovo's Correcting Service has suspended the director of the Mitrovica Centre for Pre-price, a senior supervisor and two correctional officials, while internal investigations are still under way.
Specialised police units, including the <x0-> unit, have been engaged in apprehending the fugitives. So far, the search has not yielded concrete results.
Kosovo police have called on citizens to report immediately to 192 or to the nearest police station if they face the person in question.
