A day after the publishing of the Constitutional Court Act, Kosovo's Parliament has announced that the constitutional session will be held on Wednesday, where the election of chairman and deputy chairman of the legislature will be in order.

So far, the deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement have indicated they will not withdraw from Albulen Hadziu's candidacy for the chief parliament, while opposition parties demand respect for the Constitutional Act. President Vjosa Osmani has sought responsibility from MPs and has named the institution's constitutionalisation as state emergency.

The next constitutional session will be held at 11: 00 p.m., the day after the execution of the court case in the official newspaper. The Assembly Administration has announced that the agenda includes the election of chairman and deputy chairman of the legislature.

Under the Constitutional Act, the Parliament must be constitutionalised within 30 days, while the right of the proposal to the chief parliament belongs to the Vetevendosje Movement as the largest parliamentary group after the February 9th elections. The prosecution limits candidacy for chairman to three votes.

The only candidate so far proposed by Vetevendosje is Albulen Haxhiu, who has failed to get the 61 votes needed. MP Arber Raj has announced about REL that in the course of the hearing on August 20th, Vetevendosje will again propose Haxhi as chairman.

AAK MP Time Kadrijaj has reacted after the Constitutional Court's ruling, stressing that the act of prejudice is mandatory and must be respected.
