Support for the protest has been given to the deputy The PDK and former Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri.
He in an interview for EO stressed that citizens are seeking fact-based justice rather than manipulations of Serbian services.
You know that prior to that there was also a march: a march for democracy, which was organised by “Freedom has a name”. At that time we attended, it was two days before the trial began. Now we're almost at the end of the trial, and OVL calls out protest. As we did at that time, we will be today to seek justice for KLA leaders, who are unjustly being held at The Hague.
I have no doubt that the number of citizens will be great, because today what citizens are looking for is justice for KLA leaders. The least we can do is seek justice with international standards, not be with evidence manipulated by Serbian services, because it has been one of the biggest concerns”, Tahiri said.
According to him, the large turnout in the protest will send a clear message in defence of KLA justice and glory.
“Justice should be decided on facts, not on manipulations of Serbia. The great presence of Kosovo citizens who seek justice for KLA leaders is a clear message I believe will be read and understood correctly. I see the end with a process that we certainly hope for and believe KLA leaders to be in Kosovo at the end of this process and triumph over the glory of KLA”, he stressed.
According to him, support for KLA leaders has been continuous and wide, and news of their release will be a joy to all Albanians.
“During this trial period we have been present in an environment where the support of Kosovo's citizen has been enormous in continuation, have supported their cause indiscriminately. News of their release will be great news to cheer up, not only the citizens of Kosovo, but all Albanians”, the deputy added.
