Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Abelard Tahiri has spoken of the event that took place at today's Kosovo Assembly session, which was interrupted following this subject's request for a 10-minute pause.
He has claimed that they were convinced that the pause would be given, but it did not bother them, Klankosova reports.tv.
Strangely enough, we were not defeated and abstained. We were convinced that we would be given a ten - minute break. Unfortunately, as you saw, such a thing was impossible and, arbitraryly, the session was concluded. I think today the Speaker of the Parliament could have been a finished case, so it would have been chosen. ”
I've been looking for the twelve men, so before the last candidate to be voted on by the Vetevendosje Movement. At the request of our parliamentary group, we asked for a ten-minute pause for a consultant to invite all parliamentary groups to a proposal we had. Normally, it could be a finished case even for the vice-presidents”, Tahiri said.
Tahiri has stressed that the Democratic Party of Kosovo has consistently offered co-operation to resolve the issue of the stalemate in the Kosovo Assembly, but according to him, they are not the deputies of LVV chairman to be led by him whenever he wishes.
“We are not deputies led by Albin Kurti, we are deputies of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and as such and normally we are not willing to vote there whenever Mr. Kurti wants, or whenever others are asked to do so. We have normally offered the consensus and our cooperation without being asked just to get out of this mess, but when they're so irresponsible and they don't have the will”.
“You know how the PDK has responded to all their requests if the meeting was invited by Mr. Kurt, both from the head of the session. So we've been extremely responsible. Today, we were also convinced that we would take a 10 - minute break and discuss what we had. Then we would go back to vote and I believe that would be the finished case”, Tahiri said. /Periscopi/
