Stated by police after Judge Avdullah Mecina was found without signs of life

The Kosovo Police have been declared regarding the case.

“Today, with the date 28.08.2025, police in Skenderaj have accepted the announcement that it was suspected of a person without life signs in his home, in a village of Scytheright. Police units have immediately gone to the scene and the QKMF emergency in Skenderaj has also been announced. The doctor confirmed that the person was without signs of life. All competent units have been placed at the scene, while police investigators with the prosecutor's permission have launched investigations into clarifying the circumstances of this case”, the report said.

Police suggest that the corpse of the 65-year-old body has been sent to IML, while the case is being investigated as “suspected death”.

After completing procedures at the scene, at the order of the prosecutor of the case, the body of the male victim, aged 65, has been sent to the Law Medicine Institute for Obligation, while according to circumstances found at the scene, the case has been initiated as a suspicious death””.
