Spahiu: Kosovo risks ending up as Palestine

Kreshnik Spahiu found that currently three important Balkan countries -- including Albania -- are without American ambassadors.

The other two are Serbia and Kosovo. President Donald Trump's administration seems to have turned its attention away from the Balkans, having no priority, but this also brings geopolitical difficulties, especially for the situation where Kosovo is located.

He also reveals and explains the mistake Prime Minister Albin Kurti made during former President Joe Biden's administration, when he refused the Franco-German project for Kosovo, while with the Trump administration things have changed and the project remains unknown.

Kosovo can even risk as much as Palestine currently.

“Why has President Trump not launched ambassadors in three countries of the region currently like Albania, Kosovo and Serbia? The Balkans are currently off the US agenda.

Will there be a solution? Certainly over time, because it cannot last four years”, he said.

But the current situation, with the distance of the US, when Kosovo needs more, makes political and military positions difficult.

He also explains Kurt's mistake.

Albin Kurti was delayed with the Benden project, with the Franco-German project, when friends were asked to admit he was the best.

But what's the risk of Kosovo? You risk a project like Palestine, unlike the Franco-German project, because Trump has a project different than that of Biden.

Trump does not accept EU protagonism. We don't know this project, but Kosovo without US support, where will we get help?

So I think Kurti made a serious mistake not accepting the Franco-German project”, Spahiu told Report TV.
