“The patrol teams of the Fast-North Intervention Unit, in the process of a tactical-opportular plan based on accepted information, dated 25.08.2025 in the village of Ceraje - KK Leposaviq, have encountered an abandoned VW Transporter, white, license plated vehicle The RKS, filled with cigarettes of different types, without banners, allegedly smuggled from Serbia's territory in the Republic of Kosovo”.
The total value of the goods is estimated to be 797 000 pieces of cigarettes, worth approximately 800,000 (80 000) euros. With state prosecutor's permission, smuggled vehicle and cigarettes have been sent to the customs terminal for further treatment by relevant KK units and Kosovo Customs”, a police report said.
