Situated situation with fires in Kosovo, KFOR's air intervention required

The worst situation has been reported in the village of Dumnica in the Podujevo municipality, where assistance has been sought by other fire units because of the size of the fire.
Air intervention by KFOR has also been requested.
The most heavily charged situation is registered in the village of Dumnica in the Podujevo municipality, where assistance has been sought by other entities. Pristina, Vushtrri and Mitrovica units have been engaged in this operation, while the request for air intervention by KFOR has been made to help extinguish the” fire.
The AME suggests that management of the situation is being carried out in full co-ordination with Professional Fire and Salvation Units, while appealing to citizens to avoid any action that might cause fire and immediately report every case in emergency numbers 112, 193 and 192.
The agency has expressed gratitude for the dedication of firefighters, the support of the Kosovo Police and the citizens' co-operation.
