According to reports by Kosovo Special Prosecutor and Police, he is suspected of involvement in crimes committed on April 6, 1999 in the municipality of Vushtrri, in the Mitrovica region. Authorities have announced that Spasic served as active reserve at Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP).
Investigations are under way by the Directorate for Investigation of War Crimes in collaboration with the Special Prosecutor. According to the prosecution, he was involved in a criminal outcry delivered on 22 June 2022, linked to massacres against Albanians in the Vushtrri area.
