In a public statement made today, Osmani announced that he has signed a Presidential Decree with which Kosovo fully harmonises the definition of foreign terrorist organisations with that of the United States, given US President Donald Trump's executive orders, issued in January of this year.
“History confirms a simple truth: when America leads, there is more peace, more security and more freedom on a global level,” stressed Osmani.
She added that Kosovo will always stand by the US in promoting this vision and in the fight against all dangers threatening the national security of the country's most important ally.
This step comes at a time when international co-operation against criminal and terrorist networks has become increasingly necessary in dealing with global security challenges.
The Republic of Kosovo stands with the United States of America in the fight against transnational organized crime and terror, Narco cartels and criminal regimes, because American leadership makes the world safe.
