The Municipal Inspectorate Directorate in northern Mitrovica, in co-operation with the Ministry of Health's Sanitarian Inspectorate, has taken steps towards a private clinic with licenses, temporarily closing it after a detailed inspection on the ground.
During the search, about 30 long-term medical products have been identified and removed, raising serious concerns about patient safety.
Also, irregularities in the ventilation system have been found, as well as disagreement in documentation, including the lack of notification of some important documents, which constitutes violation of professional and legal standards.
Authorities have announced that the pharmaceutical and health inspectors will also be on the ground tomorrow, to carry out the annihilation of suspicious items, and to deepen investigation into the clinic's operation.
Meanwhile, the regular administrative procedure for taking punitive measures, including the possible suspension of the license, is followed to improve all the recorded shortcomings.
Local authorities have stressed that such actions are necessary for ensuring safety standards and quality in health services offered to citizens./Periscopi/
