Not on our list, not that there are no people with an accusation or problem with the law, not even a rumor. We have shown the same example in Kosovo municipalities. The mayors of our party's municipalities, even in the previous mandate of this mandate, are exemplary, are without remarks, are free of charge, and without a mention in the justice report. ”

With pride that did not hide it, a senior official declared in January this year PDK's in an electoral debate.

Since this criterion was set by Kadri Wessel, former chairman of The PDK, this party for several choices, had also held that promise.

Far beyond this year's general election The PDK had held back strictly.

Even at one time, powerful figures of this subject were not allowed to run for Kosovo's Assembly deputies because of trouble with justice. Such was the case. The case of Adem Grabovci, which was unable to be listed for MPs, even though the court had declared him innocent.

But this criterion has been abandoned in these local elections.

At least in one case. Among the candidates for mayors, The PDK has entrusted the candidacy to Lipjan's first candidate, Shukri Buy.

Boja's political career has been conveyed with many court processes where Boya has been the chief protagonist. Sometimes the courts even found him guilty of what he was.

Sentenced with fines and prisons, and not known how they ended up in the other instances of justice.

Boya, in 2007, had competed for mayor of the municipality and won the election, and led the Lipjan Community until 2013, when she lost to LDK's rival Imri Ahmeti

The first time, Bouja had not reported his property within the legal deadline as mayor of the Lipjan municipality. Therefore, the prosecution had filed charges on December 4, 2014, and Buja was sentenced in December 2015 to 4 months in prison on bail and 2 thousand euros in fines.

While in February 2017 the Kosovo Special Prosecutor brought an indictment against 10 people for corruption-related works, including the former head of the Lipjan municipality, as well as eight municipality officials and a businessman.

In this case, Boya had been sentenced to two years in prison.

Boya was accused of being taking bribes and exercising influence. In 2018 he had been sentenced to three years in prison, but the case had been retriald.

The bread was forced to compensate the Lipjan municipality for about 79 thousand euros for the damage caused. Supreme has turned these decisions into zero, and there is no telling what was done next.

A special prosecutor's communiqué stated that acts weighing on the accused are misuse of official duty, bribery, bribery, and illegal construction work.

Meanwhile, last month, the Constitutional Court in Pristina has convicted Shukri Buya in retrial for the “Venterians, declaring him a one-year prison sentence.

After that decision, Buya has reacted by calling it political and as an attempt to prevent his political journey.

It is noteworthy that Shukri Buya, in 2017, had resigned from the post of PDK) branch chief in Lipjan. Meanwhile, on the eve of local elections, he had also completely abandoned the PDK, moving to the next political subject, NISMA at Fatmir Limaj.

The reasons for his resignation, Buya had announced in a five-page letter that was then said to have been sent to PDK chairman Kadri Wessel and the party's leadership. /Periscopi/
