The CEC, made up of a “tavol male”, has not certified the Serbian List for election racing, and its decisions are turning into public judgments and links. With this approach, equality and competition rights are violated, while the institution is placed a burden on its neck for political folklore, while Kosovo depreciates its power and becomes more vulnerable.
Being a patriot today means loving the Republic and respecting the constitutional, legal, and political order on which it is built. Patriotism is to respect Serbian citizens, their elected representatives, to dialogue with them, and to engage in their integration, not exclusion.
It is painful when a political class falls prey to demagogia and, for a handful of votes, puts Kosovo on redboards and lines as a country that violates minority communities' rights, damaging the international image and partnership.
