US special envoy Steve Whitoff will be in Moscow on Wednesday to meet with Russian leadership.

Officials in Washington provided little detail on the Witkoff agenda.
The president has pointed out, of course, that Special Envoy Whitoff will travel to Russia this week, so we can confirm this from this platform,” told reporters State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce.
“What this will involve, I have no details for you”.
State News Agency T Russia's ASS, citing aviation sources, said a plane believed to be aboard Witkoff had already left the United States.
President Donald Trump, who has signalled disappointment with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, has given him until this Friday to make progress towards peace in Ukraine or face stiffer sanctions. /Periscopi/
