The Resigns That Shake VV's Temels

It was 2018 when several evacuations hit the party of Albin Kurt and Dejona Michael hard, following Periscope.

Visar Ymer, then VV's president, Dardan Sejdiu, Dardan Molyqaj, Aida Drdguti, Driton Caushi, Salih Salihu, noble Ishmael, Frasher Krasniqi, Faton Topalli, Albanian Pantina, and Besa Baftiu were just a few.

According to their statements, developments within this party and domestic elections influenced internal divisions and the removal of some of the key figures from this political subject.

But they did not stop there.

The Vetevendosje movement was challenged once again by evacuations.

Acting Minister of Infrastructure Lieburn Aliu announced his resignation from the post.

He explained that his resignation comes after his co-party, Dimal Basha, was elected head of the Kosovo Assembly yesterday.

Aliu indicated he had notified incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti of his decision shortly after Basha's election Tuesday.

I consider yesterday's election of the Speaker of the Parliament, the highest institution, where laws are established and accountable to the government, is not in the spirit of that ideal for the Republic that has been, and there is still reason for my commitment”, Aliu said on Facebook.

Otherwise, Aliu was one of the founding figures of the Vetevendosje Movement, which remained active in the party until the moment he left the government.

However, he did not participate in the recent parliamentary elections, held on February 9th.

His resignation was commented by Deputy Minister Hysen Patience, but not by the Government of Kosovo.

Durmish said Ali was neither an MP nor a VV chief.

It means decisions in the Vetevendosje Movement are taken in the structures of the Vetevendosje Movement. It's the way a political organization works. We can then occasionally disagree on various issues, which are discussed in the General Council, then at Headship. But when decisions are made in large measure, they are democratic decisions that are respected despite any disagreement anyone could have -- answered Durmish, when asked by KALLXO.com -- whether this Ali decision that is his end in Vetevendosje.

Currently chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement is Albin Kurti. This party was founded since 2004.

How did Dimal Basha come to the headmaster's chair?

Dimal Basha has taken up the post of chief parliament on Tuesday after nearly five months of the Parliament blockade.

He was elected with the votes of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, which had promised to vote on anyone who had no ministerial post in the Kurti Government.

The first time the PDK was nominated, for which it was criticised for having no consistency in attitudes.
